Getting a barrel made for a Glock...
I have always wanted to find a barrel maker that would produce a replacement for the old AMT Automag III in either the 1911 configuration or in a Glock. The 10mm Glock 20 uses a cartridge that is similar in length, but is there anyone who custom makes barrels in a caliber that obscure? I know Glockmeister had a contract for the 9x21, .40 magnum, etc...why not the .30 Carbine? Don't flame me for this, it's a lead in for an even crazier wildcat...the 5.7 Johnson Spitfire.

Oops, I meant .40 Super, my bad...[:D] 0 -
Just measured the internal front to back length of a G 20 magazine. It measures 1.315. The overall cartridge length of a .30 Carbine round is 1.650.
Seems there is going to have to be major surgery performed on both a G 20 and it's magazines for your idea to work.0 -
Hmmm...okay, I'm pretty sure Gaston Glock is not going to have his boys re-tool for my screwball idea, so what about the LAR Grizzly? The 357 case is 1.25 and the .30 Carbine is 1.29...that's not such a stretch, is it? 0
