S&W 10mm Problems

    Yes gap, this was true on some models... The 1026 and 1076 (decocker models), it also affected various other calibers too (9mm and .45).
    The way to tell whether the affected guns have been fixed is to look under the decocker. If it has two dots then it has been sent back to S&W to be repaired, if not then send it in and they'll do it for free.
    If these pictures are hard to read, you might want to save them onto your computer and enlarge them with a viewing program, but it'll give you the needed info.

    P.S. Good choice on the caliber, there's none better for carry! The 1076 SHOULD be my next 10mm purchase (which is the only caliber I want).
