I need to know if i got a good deal.

I just bought a m95 austrian styer at a gun store yester day. the gun is in good shape so is the stock is has a smooth working bore and all toolmarkings are clearley seen. I paid $85.00 for it was that a good deal?[:)]

  From the perspective of an "old timer", if you are satisfied, then you got a good deal.
  
  I'm ALWAYS told, after I buy a car, for example, that "Oh, you should have told me, I know where you could get it for at least $XXXXX less." Have never been told prior to buying where to get these alleged bargains. [;)]

  i'm like hairy- if you're happy it was a good deal- don't look for approval after the deal is made, a lot of times other people will make you feel like you scre##d up when you were happy before you asked.
