will sights interchange (Ruger 10/22 - .44 mag)?
I don't have a set of calipers to know for sure, but I was wondering if 10/22 sights would work on a .44 carbine. To me, they look like they are shorter than for the .44 mag. The parts manual lists the rear sight for the 10/22 as B-75 and the .44 mag as C-75... My guess is that they are the same. However, the front sight is listed quite a bit different.

Do the front sights have the removable blade? They probably put the blade with the proper heigth for each cartridge on the rifles.

They have the narrow dovetail that appears similar to the 10/22. However, all mine before weren't the fingergroove sporter version, but they all had front post and square notch rear, this one has the smaller slimmer front sight with a gold dot on top - just like my 10/22 has. It's also the only one that was out of range on the adjustments.
I think I'm gonna check out your site, it's been a while since I did. I like your "play while you pay" idea, sure beats lay-away...0
