Hi-Standard clip

could someone give me a little help in removing the spring
from a hi-standard clip..

  In my High Standard HD Military, to disassemble the magazine. Under control, using a suitable rod, depress the follower down to the round hole at the base of the magazine housing and withdraw the loading assist knob. Still under control, allow the follower to ride up the housing body. Remove follower and spring.
  
  Reassembly is the reverse.
  
  This may or may not be applicable to your application as you did not specify model.
