Scope for a 22LR rifle

Could anyone suggest a good scope for an Ithaca model 72 saddlegun (22LR lever action)?

No need to get fancy with this one. Any 4X scope above $30 will serve you well. I have a 4X Simmons on my Browning BL22---a real tack driver inside 50 yards.

My favorite for a moderate priced 22 scope is the Bushnell Banner 4X rimfire. It has been around a long time. I think I have 6 of these on various 22 rifles.

I have a Simmons Mag rimfire scope on my .22. I usually like higher end optics, but for $27.95 at Natchez, this one is hard to beat.
