Ruger SP 101
Is it safe to shoot 38 super auto in a Ruger SP101 357 mag[?]

NO!!

I second Mobuck's vote. The .38 Super is a completely different round than the .357. The only other (currently produced) round that can safely be fired in your SP101 would be the .38 S&W Special, more commonly known nowadays as just the .38 Special.

Take 'em to the next gun show. I'm sure you'll be able to swap with somebody (or for cash) for some proper .357 or .38 spec. 0
