Mossberg 590 Shotgun Bayonet Lug

This may be a silly question but just had to ask.

Can the Mossberg 590 bayonet lug assembly and the magazine tube cap be purchased or obtained as separate parts fom the firearm and barrel?

Also is the Mossberg 590 barrel interchangable with the Mossberg 500?

Would like to dress up a Mossberg 500 and trying to resist buying a 590 since I have enough shotguns already.

  This can be done, but you'll find it to be cost prohibitive. The parts are available, but at almost $200 or more, you may want to consider just buying the whole gun instead.
