Loven Firearms, Corp.

I have a Loven Firearms, 50 cal. blackpowder, double barrel (rotating). It was made in Conn., USA. It is a percussion, serial # 134-13. Could you tell me about the gun & it's approximate worth.

  Are You sure about the Name and Spelling?....Niether My Data Base, Satterlee and Gluckmann or Balderson's shows a Loven as a Maker...But There was a 'LOVELL'...which fits the Time Period...They were suceeded by Iver Johnson.....Sorry I can't be more specific...I'm sure someone out there will come up with an answer for You...Rufe-Snow is pretty good at pulling a Rabbit out of the hat...So just be patient.....
