Ferret 50 BMG

Does anyone have any info on this 50BMG upper for a AR15?

  There is no such thing as a .50 BMG upper for an AR15. The frame AND the shooter would be torn apart almost instantly from the horrendous recoil generated by that cartridge in a lightweight frame such as an AR15!

  Bert,
  Ferret and UltraMag 50 make an upper for the AR15 lower.
  I emailed Safety Harbor Firearms (UltraMag 50),but got no response. It must be a prototype.

  Cabela's has it. Spider Firearms Ferret50. $1800 in their 2003 shooting catalog. Item # XP-22-5752 . Good luck, Let me know how it does.[8D]

  If I remember correctly the guy who was developing the Ferret used to post here several years ago. I remember reading his posts about developing the upper and he was met with some ridicule and skeptimism.
