    Stevens 311a was made in .410 20-16 and 12 guage.The .410 is the most desireable and brings more money than the larger guages.A .410 in exc. condition averages about $450.The 311a's that i have seen were made in the 1950's.On the bottom of the receiver,just behind the hinge,you will find a number and letter in a small circle.(sometimes quite faint)If you give me that Letter i can give you the year of manufacture. 311a's were not fancy but were well made good quality guns.

    i have a 12ga - just my 2cents but i'd hang on to it, 410ga are harded to find than other gauges but if you want to sell prices around east texas are between $325 - $400 depending on cond.

    THere isn't a number but there are four letters. There is a Q and W and then an A and J. THe A and J are in circles.

    I would put my vote in the $450 range also. One in good condition, will have to problem selling on the auction at that price.

    Oh Yeah did I metion this gun has only been fired a few times. The stock is like new. There is no rust on it anywere.
