Antique sporting goods, Price?

Does anyone know where I can find info on old sporting goods. Such as percussion cap tins, shell boxes, clay pigeons, old civil war items, duck decoys, etc... I would like something that could help me identify age years of manufacture, aprox. value.

  I see old Catalogs offered For Sale once in awhile in the Gun List...also Copies of old Sear-Roebuck catalogs...You're just gonna have to do a little research......

  Try Bookfinder.com, Advanced Book exchange, or try www.sportingcollectibles.com for some possibilities. I can usually find Herter's catalogs for example at bookfinder.

  Cruise the "Collectables" section at Barnes & Nobles or Books-A-Million. There are dozens available.
