Chamelot-Delvigne Type Revolver???
I have a revolver that I can't identify.It has no name or manufacturers marks. I found a similar gun pictured in The Illustrated book of GUNS on page 20. It appears to be made in Europe.
Half round half octigon 5" barrel, solid frame double action only, 5 shot. Came with one S&W .44 AM cartridge. Fixed sights, finger spur on removable trigger guard. Lanyard ring . Instead of flutes on cylinder it has oval insets.Bottom hinged loading gate that falls back and has sliding ejector rod on right side. Proofs?? crown(maybe) over V, Star over B stamped on frame and barrel , B B & C stamped on left frame below cylinder. 65 65 stamped on both sides of frame. Long narrow checkered wood grips. Great case colors...???

Your revolver has is similar features ( "half round barrel" " "spured trigger guard attached with screws" "flutes on cylinder" "narrow checkered wooden grips" ) to a number of revolvers fabricated in Beligum and Spain during the last quarter of the 19th Century.
They took different recognizeable features from successful revolver designs ( "NAGANT", "CHAMELOT DEVIGNE", "SMITH & WESSON" ) and combined them in hopes they would insure commercial success, by duping naive buyers.0 -
