Believe your "I", as the first letter of the last name should be "J".
There is a reference for a Friedrich Jung & Sohne as being a business located in Suhl as late as the 1930's. It was owned at that time by Hugo Jung.
From your description of the double rifle ( hammers and underlever ) and having Friedrich Jung's name on it, I would guess it dates to the last quarter of the 19th Century.

Did some more research on your rifle. Didn't find but one old metric sporting blackpowder rifle round with a bore diameter over .480. This could mean that it's chambered for a "PARADOX" cartridge of some type, rather then a conventional rifle cartridge.

If your able to get HIGH QUALITY PICTURES, contact these guys This is a link to the German Gun Collectors Association.

Many of them are very knowledgeable, well heeled, collectors with close ties to the Fatherland. Hopefully they may be able to help you.
