remington 1100 lt.20 reg. 20
is there any difference between the lt. 20 and the regular 20 gauge 1100 besides weight...do barrels interchange??? thanks for your help

I believe you will find the barrels will not interchange.

The standard 20 is based off of the 12 gauge receiver whereas the LW model is not (the LW is used for the 20LW, 28, & .410). No, they will not interchange between the two models. 0 -
THEY WILL NOT INTERCHANGE AS BAMBIHUNTER STATED. THE BARRELS HAVE DIFFERENT SIZE LUGS THAT SLIDE OVER MAGAZINE AND THE LT-20'S CONTOURED WHERE IT SLIDES INTO SMALLER RECIEVER . THE EASIEST WAY TO SPOT THE DIFFERRENCE IS THE BARREL LUG ON STD. TWENTY IS THE SAME DIAMETER AS A 12 GA. BARRELS LUG. LT-20 IS SMALLER DIAMETER FOR SMALLER MAG. TUBE.

thanks for the info guys.....this is a deer shotgun with rifled barrel (remington) and black syn. stocks and rifle sites...it has no marking of lt.20 but a friend of mine thought it was...it says on the barrel that its a 20ga but no lt20 on it....thanks again...tom 0
