If no one comes up with an answer you might try the Kel-Tec web page.
The Grendel was the predecessor to the Kel-Tec.0 -
I've done it once and it was not easy. Its hard to remember with out the gun in front of me, but I used slave pins to hold the coil spring in place. I will look at a parts diagram to see if I can remember.
Know this not much help.

This may not help at all, but it is all I can offer: I have a P-30 and would be willing to make copies of the diagrams in the manual and send to you. They may be similar or the same, I just don't know.

O.k. , well i know "what goes were" but the "how to" is the problem ??
unless the manuel tells how to get it 'back togethr from a fully striped point' then it will not help , so thanks , but Im still at a loss... The "Keltec" suggestion sounds good , but I have already contacted them and they claim NO Strings to grendel at all in any form!!! and I own two Keltecs (and carry on e'off duty' almost daily), yes they resemble these , but......anyhow , hopefully some-one can help.....
Thanks !!!!!

I've heard that most people can't get any help from Kel-Tec with their Grendels. I was hopeing you might find a web site of owners that might be of help. The connection between the companies is an old one but the Kel-Tec is derived from the Grendel.
With a little luck assembly directions for the Kel-Tec MIGHT be close enough to be of help.0 -
O.K. , Thanks , I 'll keep on trying ..........
