ARE ELECTRONIC DEER CALLS LEGAL TO USE IN OHIO?
Now that I found a quality electronic game call, I need to know if it's legal to use in Ohio. I've used my rattling bag, grunt call and doe bleat can for many years now, but I don't want to carry all of that into the woods anymore. Too many things hanging around my neck, plus my binoculars. If someone can help me, I'd really appreciate it!

i don't believe you can use any eletronic caller in ohio for game animals. you can use it for coyotes, foxes, and other varmints. 0 -
page 20 of ohio 2003-04 hunting regs:
quote"electric callers may be used while hunting, except by persons hunting migratory gamebirds(waterfowl, rails, and shorebirds)and wild turkeys.it is lawful to use electronic callers for crow hunting".0 -
ohioghog- You kind of went completely around my question or maybe I'm too dense to understand your answer. So, spell it out for me. Is it legal to use a electronic call for deer? Yes or No? I went to the ODNR website but, my outdated webtv won't load the information that I want to know. It says that it's not set up to accept this type of information. So, if you can clarify your answer, I would really appreciate it! Thanks, Bubba
