Their our 2 Bushnell Elite 3200 3x9-40 scopes on ebay for buy it now prices of $170 and $8 for shipping. These usually sell for $225 (plus tax) and were formally made by Bausch & Lomb. Field and Stream descibes them as "tough as railroad spikes" and the call the "3-2-1 low light reticle" excellent.
I know it is slightly over your $150 limit but for 28 extra dollars you will have a decent scope. A tough lesson I had to learn was optics are more important than your rifle. Good luck with what ever you decide. I personally would avoid a NIKON below the Monarch series. All though I have heard good things about the Buckmaster line. Good Luck.

Travis is right. You should't try to save money with the scope. I had a lot of trouble using cheap scopes.
Go for the Bushnell if you can get it.

Glad to here other people recomending the Bushnell scopes. $170 is a great price on that and the rain parka is nice to. I got one of the parkas last year when they ran this promotion.

I would be careful buying on Ebay because there are a ton of refurbished items for sale on there that people pass off as new. These are seconds or repairs. Buy from your local dealer or Cabela's so if you have a problem you have a recourse. I have a buddy who works for Simmons and you would be surprised at the amount of seconds out there. 0
