I have a EAA WINDICATER 357, and am wondering if I can fire 38 super through it. Any information will help. 0 -
Pressure shouldn't be an issue, but case dimensions will. Putting the wrong ammo in a gun is a good way to rupture cases or get hurt. The 38 Super is substantially shorter than the 357 round which will likely cause a lot of brass/lead buildup at the shoulder in the cylinder. The case is also about .005" wider than the 357's which would make insertion and extraction difficult. The only thing that is tolerable about the interchange is that they are both straight-walled (non-tapered) cases. Stick to 357 ammo in your gun and swap in some 38 Specials if you want to interchange anything[:D]
