Year of manufacturer

I am wanting to build a database of different manufacturers that lists the approximate date of manfacture for different firearms. Can you folks post some of the ones you have so I can build my database. I see this question for individual manufacturers asked occasionally and thought I could just start saving them.

  While we are on this topic, for those of you who are fans/collectors of the Winchester Model 1885 Single-Shot... DON'T believe anything currently written by G. Madis, J. Campbell, or any other current publication/list as it relates to production dates! (same goes for any of the various internet sites that list manufacture dates for the 1885). In addition to the serial number versus D.O.M. errors, there is a considerable number of other written mistakes (most notably by Madis).
  
  I am currently in the process of writing a NEW reference book about the Model 1885 (and its sibling, the Model 87 Winder Musket) that will correct much of the misinformation that currently exists in the published material by the afore mentioned authors. If anyone has a specific question about the Model 1885, or is just simply interested in my book project, please feel free to contact me personally.
