Colt pre woodsman
On top of barrel is marked Colt firearm Hartford Con. Pat. Dec 22, 1903 Like many others. Then on front of grip is stamped 25XX which I take as the serial#. Now then all other guns I have seen, show on the left side of action say COLT AUTOMATIC -CAL.22 LR. And then the bucking horse all in large bold print. My gun says colt automatic-cal. 22lr. in small print and the bucking horse is aft of the finger grip on action. Any idea why mine is different? Thanks John

The first series Woodsman made between 1915 & 1922, appears to be identical to yours.0
