I am hoping someone can give me a answer on an encore forearm... I have a stainless Encore Pro Hunter with a 28 inch fluted Pro Hunter 30-06 barrel. The forearm is a Realtree Hardwoods camo for the Pro Hunter I believe the number to be a #7571. I am wanting to buy a 26 inch factory Encore 22-250 heavy barrel. The forearm for that barrel calls for a number 7701. Is the 7701 the same forearm as the 7571 without the rubber inserts, or do I have to buy the 7701 ???? thanks...

TC Encore is a quality firearm. I have a 209x50 muzzleloader and a .308 barrel. Both are very accurate.

209X50 shoots 1.5 in. groups at 100 yds. with 100 gr. pyrodex pellets and 300 gr. hornady xtp .44 mag. sabot. .308 (15 in. barrel) shoots 1 in. groups at 100 yds. with Winchester 150 gr. power point factory ammo.
