I am pretty sure ruger buys their magazines off of MecGar as do many other Manufacturers.

You might check to see if Promag made any Hi-caps for the ruger. Promag magazines are high quality just like Mec-Gar. Also, Mec-gar made 17 round mags for the ruger that are flush fit. I had some earlier this year but sold them.[V]

Mecgars are supposed to be good but all the ones I found for my P89 were expensive. I have a ramline for mine that will hold 18 and functions great.

I have available the factory Ruger 15rd pre-ban mags and possibly some of the hi cap MecGar ones as well. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

I bought two MecGar 8 round 40 S&W for my Colt directly MecGar for $45, incl. shipping.

Factory mags are $41 each, available only from two scources - Colt and
http://www.ammoclip.com . Check their site. They have factory and other.

The new MecGar operates better than my ten year old Colt mag, but the spring just needs changing. One thing I didn't like about the MecGar was the follower sprang up a little too high, off angle.

I have a Wilson for my new .45 coming in, and I hear they are the best, but not available for your application.

More info than you needed, but I hope some of it helps you or another.

I agree with all the guys, Mec-Gar mags are-- if not the best for aftermarket mags, one of the top choices. Mine function flawlessly.
