Scope for .44 Mag pistol
While I'm still deliberating over the choice of .44 Rem. Mag. revolvers, how 'bout some help on a moderately priced scope for same? I hate the idea of spending more on the glass than on the gun. If I go with the Smith or the Ruger, certainly the Taurus, that could happen. And I don't want to go with the Colt just to prevent that![:)] I'm really talking in the less-than-$200 category for a scope. Any suggestions?

Check out the Weaver 2x28. Should come in under $200.00 and great scope for the money. 0 -
1st. Bushnell Holosight
2nd. Aimpoint
3rd. Tasco pro point
4th. BSA
LAST FOR HUNTING -- low power scope -- for the reasons already stated0 -
I like the holosight also but if you want a magnified scope try the Bushnell Trophy 2x32 or the 2-6x32. The 2-6x32 is a little harder to look through but both carry a lifetime warrenty.

The EOTECH holo scope is one choice. Locally it's priced at $249.

Check out the various auction sites. I just bought a like new Leupold 2X EER Silver, delivered, for $150.00. Remember, Leupold has a great warranty, possibly the best. Also a near new,(never been mounted on a gun) silver Redfield base and ring set for $36.00. That's well under your dollar cap.
