Sightron Scopes
Anyone ever use one of these scopes? Are they a knockoff of something else? How are the optics as compared to Weaver, Redfield, Zeiss, Tasco, etc? I am thinking of trying one out but I never heard of them so any info would be great. They do not have cheap prices on them.

Are Sightron scopes decent pieces of equipment?
Do they compare to Leupold or Burris?
". . . let me forget about today until tomorrow"0 -
Ive have several sightron/II scopes, very good quality for the money. warranty is great (ive only sent one back, damaged by my carelessness they repaired it free). maybe not as good as the leupold in quality but a good runner up, speciallly for the money.
just my humble opinion0 -
A Sightron dealer had his table close to a friends tables at a gun show this last weekend.
The show was somewhat slow.
But after noticing a good crowd and numerous Sightron sales at his table I asked him a few questions as to his good fortune and good sales.
He said nearly 70% of the sales that day were to repeat Sightron customers.
It does seem like the scopes are very "bright" and compare favorably
with higher priced scopes.
SOOOOOOO... I bought a couple and now need to mount them.0 -
They rank in the third tier of scopes (with Schmidt Bender, Swarovski and high end Euro scopes first tier, Burris, Leupold, Nikon, Pentax, second tier. Rank them just about with Bushnell high end scopes and Grand Slam. Decent for the price. Check www.bearbasin.com for very competitive pricing, good company, good service.
