Mounting a scope on a 454 Raging Bull

I am mounting a scope on my 454 Raging Bull but broke one of the Millett rings after 10 rounds. The scope rail is Taurus that seems like Weaver style, though the rings didn't fit it perfectly. Does someone have experience with this rig? Thinking of using Burris Zee rings, they look stronger.

  i never had any luck with a scope on my bull either..too mean a beast for the mount i guess i just use open iron sights now

  I just read an article on Badger Ordnance rings. I have never used them but they sound solid. They have some designed for 50 cal so I would think that would hold up. I found them at this web sight
