Stainless .44 Mag revolver? Which is best?

I'm in the market for a hunting revolver in .44 Rem. Mag. I'm considering S&W, Colt, Taurus & Ruger Super Redhawk. Any opinions will be appreciated. I'm thinking 7-9 inch barrel in Stainless Steel.

  Really like the Anaconda, but I believe the Ruger is very close in most respects, so I think you are probably as well served by it and it would leave you more money for ammo. I bought my Anaconda secondhand and proably would have done the same for the Ruger: the average shooter finds the 44 Mag a bit more than they care for and end up selling 'em so lots of good used ones are available.

  I am a fan of the Colt Anaconda also. I have also owned Rugers and S&W's..My experience is the Anaconda is more accurate out of the box. I have had mine over 9 years and it has several thousand rounds through it without a problem.
  
  IMHO you can't go wrong with any of the choices you mentioned.

  you can also get a Ruger Redhawk in 44 mag 5 1/2" , or 7 1/2" barrel ,, the 7 1/2" model can be had with or without rings , blue or stainless, grips are wood nor rubber like in the super redhawk and if you ask me they look better [:D]

  All of them are fine, but perhaps if you have a excellant gunshop around or know someone who has one of each, try them out. At least see if it fits your hand. I believe Dan Wesson makes one as well and with interchangable barrels. I have a DW in .357 and it works great.

  I have a Redhawk (Rugar) to clean up for a friend. It looks like business, and I've read favorable mentions on other forums. About $500 + expenses for Stainless. See GB auctions for new.

  I love my Anaconda. I also own a Super Blackhawk and a Smith & Wesson Model 29. Overall, I like the Anaconda best, but I am going to have to do something with the rear sight. It shifts during firing. The Ruger is the best for sheer ruggedness and dependability. The Smith. An aristocrat. Performs without flaw, but is too beautiful to take into the woods. I love them all, and hope to add a Super Redhawk to the collection soon.

  For strength, go with the Rugers. For trigger pull, I prefer the Smith. In my experience, I have found the Colts do not do well with high pressure loads.

  Most offerings out there are pretty good, in my opinion.......I'd narrow it down to Smith & Wesson or Colt.
  
  I have a Colt Anaconda and an S&W 29.......between the two, I like the Smitty more. Why? it just feels more comfortable in my hands.
