What did I buy!!!!!!!
I bought this gun off GB auction number 11731125. I bought the gun mainly for the scope. However can anybody tell me anything about this AR type weapon. I would real like to know about the upper. However I see no markings. Her auction had good pictures, they are better than I can discribe for you folks.

martzkj, I just did a search to try to shed some serious light on the situation and I can only find 1 semi-automatic pistol in 9mm offered by this company out of SC in 1989-1990! Maybe someone else knows what it is! However, my offer still stands! GHD 0 -
I believe these came out right after the '94 assault weapon ban. I don't think this rifle takes an AR mag. If I remember right the upper is normal. Barrel is freefloating and this assy will go right on a regular AR lower.
Some kind of strange way to load it too, from the top with strippers or some such nonsense.

Interesting question! Went through all my references, all I could find on "Armitage International" was that they were only in business for a short time circa 1989-1990. The only firearm they are listed as manufacturing was a semi-auto knock-off of the Czech Model 61. Nothing at all regarding production of A R lowers. If the dates are correct the bull barrel upper probably post dates the manufacture of the lower by a substantial amount. 0 -
