how do you fix a jennings j22 pistol?

i recently bought a j22 pistol but it jams after every shot, i need to know how to tear it down and fix it.

  HI FERG,
  START BY REMOVING THE MAG. LOOK AT THE REAR OF SLIDE WHEN IS PULLED BACK YOU'LL SEE A HOLE , TAKE A PUNCH STICK IN HOLE TILL IT STOPS.
  THEN PUSH , YOU SHOULD FEEL SPRING TENSION , WHEN YOU FEEL IT STOP MOVING AND IT'S DEPRESSED , LIFT UPWARD ON REAR OF SLIDE [*** CARE
  NOT TO LET SPRING AND RETAINER POP OUT OF HOLE OR IT MAY GET LOSED]
  WHEN REAR OF SLIDE IS UP IT WILL SLIP OF THE FRONT . PARTS ,FIRING PIN RETAINER, FIRING PIN,F.P. SPRING, AND ACTION SPRING UNDER BARREL.
  HOPE THIS HELPS , I'LL BE GLAD TO CLARIFY IF NEED BE.

  ANOTHER THING TRY DIFFERENT AMMO. CCI STINGERS I'M TOLD WORK THE MOST RELIABLY. ** CHECK MANUEL THOUGH FOR ANY WARNINGS AGAINST HYPER VELOCITY AMMO IF THERE NOT RECOMMENDED TRY GOOD HIGH VELOCITY AMMO
  LIKE MINI-MAGS - WIN SUPER-X - SOMETIMES IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  J-22'S CAN BE FINICKY. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT MAG. ALSO .

  Ferg, I hate to brake it to you, but that's pretty normal for Jennings. I have a old J-22 that I tinker with and I have only been able to get 17 consecutive shots without a jam. And actually, someone here was saying that the high-velocity rounds jam more often on the Jennings and that a regular velocity round cycles more reliably. Do a "Search" (top right corner of your screen) for Jennings and sort through the bashing posts until you find the info you're looking for.[;)]
