Hard to say, but since a scope has a great deal of "air-space" in the tube and you don't see broken glass (look through from the forward end), I would give it a bit of a go.

    Can't hurt now, can it?

You are your own best teacher. My advice is to question all things. Seek for answers, and when you find what seems to be an answer, question that too. L'Amour

Sounds like ($1,000!) an upper end scope! I would doubt if its peformance would be effected unless the integrity of nitrogen fill has been compromised; in which case it will fog up. Easy test, put it in your freezer for awhile and then take it out and look through it. It's probably of "monotube" construction and just dented. You might get the manufacturer to fix it for free----stranger things have happened.[:)]

It's a Kahles 2.5-10X50 with 30mm tube. Atleast thats the price SWFA is asking for them.

Ouch!!!!!!!that hurts! I suggest you try boresighting it, then take it to the range and test it out. In most cases, bent scope tubes still work.

The scope is fine. As long as parts aren't rattlng around inside,..it will work. The main thing that this would affect would be tracking ability as the lenses or adjustments may have been slightly pinched or pushed out of line. However,..if you are going to sight it in,..and simply hold over/under for longer or shorter shots respectively,..you should be fine. If it has target turrets, and you were planning on using them,..you might want to perform a tracking test (shoot the square and return to zero) at say 200-300yds. If it returns to zero,..then all you have is a cosmetic issue.[;)]

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
