Burris scopes?
Is the Signature worth the extra cost over the Fullfield II? If so why?

Yes!!! they use an internal lense that is equivalent to the competitions lens used in their 30mm scopes, which translates to great picture quality as well as being very bright. This comes at the expense of limited adjustment for windage or elevation, however that only matters if you are going to use it for target work at long range.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

Signatures are fully multicoated, meaning you have multicoating (to reduce reflection and refraction) on every air to glass surface (as it should be). In optics, you get what you pay for.

Love Burris Signatures. MUCH brighter than Leupolds, very reliable and consistent.

Additional Info:
1. All Signature & Fullfields are Fully Multicoated.
"Fully", meaning all 'Air to Glass' lenses are coated.
"Multicoated", meaning there is more than one layer on each lens assembly (element).
The coating is the same for each.
2. Signature lens are polished to a higher spec level. Better transmission, and less distortion of light rays.
3. Signature usually has one more lens. Better defination.
4. "Power Times Magnification";
Signatures are 4X, or 4 Power Times. 3-12X, or 12 divided by 3 = 4.
Fullfields are 3X, " 3 " " . 3-9X, or 9 divided by 3 = 3.
The higher the Power Times Magnification, the better the whole "Opto-Mechanical' system must be, otherwise the WILL be distortion.
Have seen, shown, and sold Sig's to people that were 'he** bent' on buying European names. When they compared both, except for Color Rendering, they were amazed at how little, and in many cases,...they can't tell the difference.
Other than the weight of their wallet.
