UZI 45 ACP Mags-Where/Why Have They Disappeared?

    There were never all that many of the .45 UZI mags to begin with. They never were as common as the 9mm version of the gun. They were never widely used as a military version of the UZI for there to be surplus either, like ther is with the 9mm. Hence there never was all that many of them and the limited number of them that did exist is getting smaller all the time. The same is true of the 41AE version mags. Although in the case of those, they were even less popular and their demand is less today due to the lack of ammo available.

    I agree with the above post, I myself collected Uzi firearms and the odd calibers are far and few between...sometimes the only way to get parts is to buy another firearm of the same type.

    The Uzi firearms in odd calibers didn't have enough time to gain popularity, they were banned in 1989 before they had a chance.
