A caution though... the information contained on those websites is for the most part close, but it is NOT 100% accurate (and is terribly inaccurate for some makes/models). If you are looking for D.O.M. information on the older Winchesters, LC Smiths, or Marlin firearms, your best bet is to contact Waddy Colvert (or John Hawke) at the Cody Firearms Museums - http://www.bbhc.org/firearms/QandA.cfm
Of course, you could just come back here and ask your D.O.M. question (to keep us occupied)[:)]

thanks guys, i am glad you gave me all this good info. I really do appreciate it. Also , BERT, I am sorry that you dont like my handle but i understand. But i just hate having to go out every morning and lift the hood of a FORD , work on it for about an hour so that i can go to work! so i had to buy some good, solid, start and run every time , CHEVY's!!! HAHAHA!~ Kind of reminds me of a beer commercial, "tastes great" "less filling"

I hope you realize I was just trying to bring a bit of levity to your post... but I do 100% agree with you assessment of the F**king Old Rebuilt Dodge (FORD)[:D]... I wouldn't own one if it was the last truck on this earth![}:)]
