OLD SMITH & WESSON K22 HELP
I have had a smith & WESSON k22 I think. The butt is stamped K 198XX, so is cylinder on the inside where you load it. But on the crane its stamped KO9 and the numbers 64447. It has a target hammer and trigger, and adj sights and a six inch barrel. I have had the gun about 30 years got it when I was a kid, from a friend who's moms friend was a retired chicago police officer. Its a five screw. Does anyone know the age of this piece and is it a K22? Thankyou Beltfed

I have a old smith & wesson K 22 made in 1948, 5 screw. Six inch barrel in 80 to 85 percent. Could someone ballpark it on a value.. Works great original grips. Thank you and best regards Beltfed 0 -
Fine gun, I have K-22 s/n 51xxx I bought new in 1949. Still new. 0
