Question on guide rod?
Had someone do some work on my Glock 23. Had the Glock spring set up replaced with a stainless rod with the factory spring. My Glock guy is usually on the money with his work. Took the gun to the range today and fired only 300 rounds. Upon cleaning, I noticed that the set screw on the guide rod was backing out. Do you think this is from lack of tightening or is some type of thread lock used(And maybe forgotten)? Any help would really be appreciated.

Hi and how are you...
it might have backed out from the vibration and the movement of the slide, you can use a lock tight on the srew to hold it in to place.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just wasn't sure if the solvents in cleaning the weapon would break down the loc-tite.0
