How do you get NFA/Class III permit??

Hi,
I am curious what needs to be done in order to apply or buy a Class III or NFA permit, in order to legally own a Full Auto firearm? Thanks.

    DO YOU WANT TO BE A CLASS 3 DEALER?? OR JUST OWN A CLASS 3 WEAPON??

    I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

    to purchase a machine gun you must first find a class 3 dealer who has what you want then you get forms you must take to your local sherriff to be fingerprinted and a pretty picture took then on set gets sent to the fbi and another to atf and you wait for approval and it take a while like 4 months if your lucky

    Your profile indicates that you are located in Arizona so there is no problem with NFA ownership on a state level. dotcom hit the high points so just be aware that when you purchase your new toy you won't be shooting it for quite a while because your application for transfer (called a Form 4) needs to be approved by the BATFE before you can take delivery. Find the gun you want, find a friendly Class 3 dealer to do the transfer for you, pay the seller his money (or a deposit), fill out the Form 4 with photos, finger prints, and a sign off by your local Chief Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO). When you have these ready to go send the Form 4 and $200 to the BATFE and then wait...and wait...and wait. In four to six months you'll be approved and your new MG can then be shipped to your local dealer-- nothing to it! If you have a Curio and Relics License and your MG is on the C&R list you can bypass the dealer and have the gun shipped directly to yourself. However ALL the same Form 4 transfer procedures and the $200 NFA Tax still apply.

    Do you need to be at least 21 years or age?? also, is the $200 tax a one time thing or is it yearly?? Thanks
