Value of checkered wood P-35 Browning Hi-power gri
I found a set when cleaning out the safe. They are like new. No dents or scratches whatsoever. What are they worth??? Thanks in advance...

If you could recall what year of production the Hi-Power was that they came off of, it may help establish value a little closer.
Are the inside of the grips painted red.
Is the Right grip panel notched for Ambidextrious safety. (Later Model)
Are they "blonde" as would be the case for Model "C" and some "T" series pistols?
Do you have the grip screws for them?
If they are relatively late model, perfect and new factory walnut.
I can tell you I have probably 15 pair and I ask $40 at gun shows.
Naturally if the are FN & Pre-War, War-Time, or Nazi era they may command the $90 figure.0 -
There is also the number "69" and the letter " T' in what appears to be black magic marker on the inside panels. These are handwritten. There is no cutout on the right panel for the ambi safety. The wood is not "blonde" in color, it appears to be walnut. 0
