Colt Govt. .380
Anybody shot one? The one I got last weekend has faux pearl grips, came with original grips, holster, spare 10-round mag. But how do they shoot?

Fantastic! I have the Gov't 380 Pocketlite ( same as regular only much lighter) For a .380 handgun you will have to spend alot more to get better. They are accurate and reliable. The only complaint I have is cleaning time. You have to watch the extractor when your cleaning or else it slips out of place and you have to do three steps to get it back where it belongs. I have owned my 380 for about three years now and I am happy to say it has only happened once and if you are careful it won't happen. Eevtually I plant to purchase a Mustang which is a smaller version but that is a ways down the road. Hope this info helps. My advice is that if it is in good shape you can't go wrong buy it. 0 -
I've got one also. A very nice and very concealable weapon. Mine is the plain jane model with black plastic grips, nothing extra. My only complaint is the sights: dull black rear sight and a dull black front sight on a dull black slide. Very hard for me to use in low light conditions. I'm going to look into sights with white or flouresent dots. Any suggestions?

Excellent .380 ACP pistol, I have the Colt Mustang Pocketlite....it's been with me since the late 1980's.....it's pretty sad that Colt is no longer making them. I've fired alot of rounds thriugh mine and it still functions flawlessly. Whatever you do, don't get rid of it!

I've had my Mustang stainless Pocketlite since Colt quit making them. 14oz unloaded. Never had a jam. Any Colt .380 is becoming harder to come by and the price is skyrocketing. Great little guns. I also have the bigger brother to it in a Pocket 9. 0 -
