Who makes Barstow barrels?

I have several pistol catalogues (name brands like Glock) in which they state you can order a Barstow barrel for better accuracy and so forth. I wanted to know how many different kinds of pistols Barstow makes their barrels. I tried a google/dogpile search for Barstow and came up with nothing. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them or who their parent company is.

P.S. I keep getting Barstown California...been there and not interested...
