Remington 870 chamber

Can I shoot 2 3/4" shells from a Remington 870 with a 3" chamber?

I don't have the gun yet so I can't read on the barrel to see if both will work or not.

I want to know if I can shoot both 2 3/4 and 3" shells.

  If it has a 3" chamber you can shoot 2 3/4 shells through it with no problem.
