My Dads shotgun

Hi, first post, a whats it worth question.

My dad has a Remington 16 pump he bought about 1950. So he asked me what's it worth,and since I don't have a clue, I'm asking here. It's in very nice condition.

Also, he would give it to me, but I'm gun shy, I do believe in the right to bear arms.

  NEED MORE INFO. VENT RIB?? BARREL LENGTH?? CHOKE?? MODEL?? ETC.
