THIS INFO IS FROM"THE RUGER 10/22" BY WM E. WORKMAN. SIX RB-Z MODELS WERE INTRODUCED IN 1986. 2 M77'S A 77/22 AND TWO MIMI-14'S AND ONE 10/22. RETAIL PRICE WAS ABOUT THAT OF A STANDARD 77/22 AROUND 3000 OF THE GUNS WERE MADE. YOU HAVE A NICE PIECE. ENJOY. I HAVE ONE AND HAVE HAD SEVERAL IN MY OWN RUGER "LAMO" COLLECTION. GOOD LUCK

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

Hello Lake, You certainly have a rare example on your hands. I believe the R-BZ which meant rings, no sights and two-tone light brown laminate stock was made in .270 and 30-06. RSBZ was with rings, open sights and the laminated stock while the VBZ was the varmit model now known as the NV model since 1992. They also produced some DZ models which are also scarce for a distributor whome I'm not sure but I'm guessing was Davidson. I hope this helps.
