camouflaging my shotgun

I wanted to know if anyone knew of a website or any insight on comouflaging a shotgun....do-it-yourself project.

  You can buy the paint made by HS products. They have removable and permanent types in all camo configurations. They also make camo tape to apply to the gun if you do not want to paint it. AN even easier way out is to buy a camo gun sock or chaps.

  If you decide to go the tape route make sure you remove it often to check for rust, a friend had some on his gun and took it off a while later to discover rust. Good luck.

  I painted my Beretta 390 synthetic about six years ago because it was the most rust prone gun I own. That sucker would turn brown if you just mentioned "salt water" around it.
  Here is what I did --and it worked great.
  I borrowed an air-brush --or you could buy one cheap.
  Get three cans of good spray paint (not removable) Krylon works well.
  I used tan as base coat, then cammo with green and brown.
  Take the gun apart,remove the action and degrease everything you are going to paint. Fill the empty reciever with paper towels to keep paint out.
  Spray all with base coat -straight from the spray can. Let dry really good then assemble gun (with empty reciever)
  Spray the green from the can, into the cup on the air brush and do a few splotches and lines.(it wont take much) Repeat with brown and let dry really well.
  Take gun apart again and apply two coats of polyurathane - straight from the spray can---let dry really well.
  Reassemble
  This works great for synthetic stocks --wood may require a little sanding before base coat.
  If it gets scratched, you still have a four can "touch-up kit"
  I dont like the tape stuff --I've seen it cause rust
