H&R .22 Revolver

I am looking for a H&R Model 999 revolver. They seem to be plentiful on the auctions. Some have a "vent rib" look and some have slick barrels. Which style is newer and is there a website for H&R fans.

  I don't see anything on there about pistols.
  I was very disappointed with the 999 revolver I bought. It functioned well & I had no quality complaints but I never achieved the accuracy that I had expected. I felt that the trigger design was overly complex & I could do nothing to improve it.
