Serial numbers in the 77000 range indicate manufacture in early 1968. As far as a value without actually seeing the gun, the Blue Book of Gun Values says such a gun in 100% condition should be worth $895.00. It also states that if it is in 98% condition, it should be worth $775.00. There is an "adder" of 10% for NIB condition and another adder of 50% for early production high polish finished guns. The Blue Book is a "guide only" and you could expect more or less due to regional/local market conditions, plus many other variables, such as how big your market area is and the type of "collectors interested" in your area....!
Hope this helps.

Terrific; I just had a pretty good feeling I found a great gun at a fair price. I wanted it to shoot, but it's nice to know I got a gem.
