I have the M9 Steyr in 9mm...........I think it's better that the Glock but not a good as a SIG or Walther. I bought it because it has a manual safety and reputation of Steyr. The gun is underpriced for the value you get. Mine never fails to feed or shoot. Not as accurate as I would like it to be, but I usually hit what I aim at....eventually!! In my estimation it's a "keeper".

I love those guns, every time I hold one I think a laser zap is going to shoot out of it or something. The sights are just plain neat.
You've chosen a really good relaible weapon.
I'm really supprised they aren't more popular, maybe they just haven't been around long enough yet.0 -
hey thanks for the in put it seamed and i got for the safty reasons also and the $300 price tag compared to the glock. I have done some reading on it and they say the 40's and nines are wonderful but stay away from 357 sig? thanks again 0 -
hmmmm.... wonder why? I never was a fan of the .357sig anyway. The 9mm had plenty enough velocity. I highly prefer the 40 to the .357. 0 -
I have a glock model 22 generation 2 in 40 s&w, and a steyr m40,the steyr is a 10000% better than the glock, more accurate, easier to control, functions much better, only draw back if you are a reloader, it (steyr) throws the emptys half way across the county. 0
