CAMO CETME????
I'm looking into a new Cetme rifle. I have my eye on one of the new Camo editions. Can anyone tell me if this gun has the stainless reciever or any other specs on this rifle. It seems that CAI didnt make to many with the camo stock set. Any help would be great.

There might be a few of the camo ones with the stainless receivers out there, but the majority will be the currently available stamped receiver model. The easy way to tell is if the positioning block is on the top of the receiver just ahead of the rear sight. The stamped ones will just have a small hole in the receiver there as where the stainless cast receiver models will have the HK type black which is just a raised area about 3/4 of an inch with lips on either side. This is meant to keep the scope from shifting forward under recoil.
There are other minor differences, but this block being present or not will dictate whether it is cast stainless or stamped receiver.0 -
Stamped receivers have the rear sight migged/welded on whereas the cast stainless are casted with the receiver. The camo's are the last of the wood furnitured mil-surp stocks and as such are the roughest of the stocks that were imported. Therefore they were camoe'd to cover up the blemished and crappy wood. 0
