Renington # 34 ( sweet)

Hello, I inherited a Remington Model 34 from my father in law. It's a 22cal, bolt, slide mag.(LR L S) very clean, no rust, nice wood finish. I'm not familiar with this rifle, and having difficulty finding manufactures date and value. My local gun shop thinks $185 to $200 but I'm a little doubtful about his source's. Can anyone help?

  The model 34 was made from 1932 to 1936. The blue book says $100 for 90% condition.

  unless it has the lyman peep sights,then it is worth a little more.
