T. Barker Shotgun???

Does anyone know anything about T. Barker shotguns?
My father-in-law has an old double barrel shotgun and the only markings I found on it are T.Barker
It has external hammers and the picture of a running rabbit engraved on it. Any info or value would be helpful. Thanks

  Look under the barrels and find "ELG". It's one of countless utility guns that flooded the US about 100 years ago. It sold for about $10.00 then and its value hasn't kept pace with inflation.
  
  These are now home decorations. They sell anywhere from less than $50.00 right on up to $200.00, but you won't see many move for the latter amount.
  
  Unsafe to shoot with modern rounds. Questionable with black powder. Best left a wallhanger.

  T.BARKER was also made by CRESCENT...Is possible that CRESCENT Sub Contracted to a Belguim maker...my database does'nt say anything further....Check BALDERSON's Antique and Modrn Firearms...Says the same thing I just said.......

  "T. Barker" was one of many trade names used by H&D Folsom of New York.
  
  The "T. Barker" shotguns made by Crescent Fire Arms Co. of Norwich, CT were sidelock hammerless doubles made for Folsom.
  
  Since yours has hammers, it was imported from Belgium. As Nord says, it should have Belgian proofmarks on it.
  
  BTW, your shotgun is listed in the Spring, 1902 Sears Catalog for $11.40.
