i have a 12ga. pump shot gun, and i was wondering how old it was. the serial#77643, it has on the barrel pats feb.1905-aug.1907. i was also wondering the action of the shotgun, when you slide the pump back there is a square peice on the top of the action that goes down and back, along with the action, i was wondering if that was for access gases or what? if you have any info please email
